The Asian-Smokehouse Loro is a collaboration of two award-winning chefs: Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, and Tyler Cole of Uchi. Here they combine the flavor of Southeast Asia and Japan with Central-Texas style smoked meat with dishes like curried brisket rice a smoked prime bavette served with shishito salsa verde, cilantro and pickled onion. This is the second location for Loro; the original opened in Austin in 2018. The Dallas location was one of the most highly anticipated restaurant openings in North Texas in 2021.
